Has pleaded guilty to the attempted murder charges and there will be no trial.
Amethyst Baird Rathore, 32, of Monroe pleaded guilty Monday to the attempted first degree murder of Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Agent Tyler Wheeler early this year.
News Star World
I think she should get the max penalty possible

Absolutely should get the maximum penalty.
I'd be fine with letting Tyler have a few shots at her before the sentencing.

I hadn't heard of this story until now. Why did he, as a LaWLF agent, pull her over?
Posted on 10/24/17 at 12:32 pm to CoachChappy
Because he is a law enforcement officer.

You, like many, only think of a Wildlife agent as working wildlife only. Wildlife agents have the same authority as regular law officers, state troopers and also over wildlife. About the only thing they cannot do is write a speeding ticket because they do not have a radar. However, they can pull up behind you, clock your speed with their speedometer, then pull you over for careless operation. This is not putting you down, many just don't know.
