That's probably not the case.
I get it OP. Haven't gone through myself, but several of my friends have. Best thing to do is like others have said: stay as civil as possible, but remember it is over and try not to let yourself get too attached.
Also recommend doing like an earlier poster suggested and find a new hobby if you don't already have one. Keep your mind busy and it'll help. As with everything, time will take care of the rest.
