My 6 and 4 year old are capable of operating the Roku.
They have Netflix, Plex, and a bunch of channels/apps devoted to stupid toy reviews, minecraft, lego crap, and nerf wars.

Yeah, my oldest is 3, and he will probably be able to. But he also goes to bed at some point leaving my mom to look at the 6 button remote like it's some sort of launch controller from the space shuttle.
And if I could get DirecTV with the same internet and more channels for roughly the same price per month, I can't really find a reason to not make that deal. And I've been a cord cutter for a long time, but it made sense when I was paying almost $200 for cable and I could save a ton.
