Liberal conversions to Conservative

Has anyone here actually seen a former liberal convert to "the other side"? What percentage of liberals do you see converting after 8 consecutive years of Trump?
I know a local dentist who now sees the light - and readily admits it - and has actually become a self-professed authority on how delusional and out of touch liberals are.

My parents were democrats in the 80s, but switched to Republican after Bill Clinton.

I've seen a lot of liberals reluctantly support republicans after watching progressive nut jobs and identity politics take control of the Democratic Party.
They are still liberal about some things, but they are republican voters now.
In fairness, neither Trump nor the Republican Party are conservative. They are just more platform-oriented than Democrats at the moment. In Trump's case, he's more of a populist that appeals to a lot of Democrats.

The word "neoconservative" was originally coined to describe the mostly NYC, mostly Jewish intellectuals who flirted with communism in the depression '30s but grew disenchanted with it later.
One thing that has changed since the '60s is that there is an academic infrasctructure that is designed to support the left. So people who might have come out as conservative 50 years ago now are motivated to keep quiet.

The opposite conversion from conservative to liberal is usually "I got mine now I am pulling up the ladder behind me" virtue signalling.

I was somewhat liberal if I am being honest.
When that lady made the Bowling for Columbine movie I was delusional and agreed with her at the time. Now that I have actually researched it the stats show that gun control is the most ridiculous argument ever.
The PC culture ruined it for me. White Privilege and media bias over the last year sent me over the edge.
Don't hate me, I was just a poor lost sheep.

If only all liberals could read the gospel of the poliboard, they'd be instant converts.

I think classical liberals secretly favor the republicans more than they will ever admit.
They see the craziness that has been allowed to take over their party.
A perfect example of what I’m talking about:
A few weeks ago someone posted a thread with a link in which some prog sjw wrote that Allen fricking Dershowitz was a right winger.

This is pretty much my sister. She just got sick and tired of everything being racist and/or offensive, and Progs trying to shove their ideology down everyone's throat.
To the OP, I think you see alot of conversion when kids get out of college. The real world paints a much different picture than the coddled University life.

Dennis Miller was a liberal until, as he says, "I realized liberals were wrong about everything."

Reagan and to a degree Trump were able to win them over, but it doesn't stay permanent.

These terms are far too general and ill- defined, especially on this board.

You mean like when the democratic party founded the KKK and then switched to be republicans? Seen some poster on here subscribe to that train of thought.

I actually believe this to be true. I already was leaning a little more to the right before I discovered the poliboard, but this board helped me realize I was finally headed on the correct path.

Most of my wuss liberal friends became "conservative" after waiting tables

Tons of younger people are liberals until they get a real job and see what life is all about.

If you were looking for confirmation bias you definitely came to the right place.
