The land was donated.
Had cross on it.
Government doesn't have to keep it.
A cross is only a decoration to an atheist because it has no meaning.
Government can put amy decoration on any government land.
The government cannot start or legislate a state religion.

You seem to be offended that I hold a view contrary to yours lol. I think someone purchasing the land and keeping the cross in tact would be a wonderful compromise.
