NBA needs major reform, but a star cap is not a good way to do that.

You might be right, but what do you do to stop what GSW is doing right now? Honestly?

There is no point to even watching the NBA right now. The warriors have a 2/3 betting line to win the title.... Come on, man. We have an 82 game regular season where games are meaningless. Sure, you might win some and sneak in! And then you'll just get swept by an unstoppable super team. What is the point? Build your team for 2021 when the Warriors have to finally break up?

Sure, I'm a Pels fan. But they're bad anyway. That isn't gonna change regardless. I just don't see any reason to watch any games, but I want one.

Easily. Like I said, no max contracts, hard cap.

If Klay or Durant or Curry can get, let's say 45 million a year for 7 years, instead of being capped at, say 30 million for 5 years, they are going to take the 45/7 from another team.

That coupled with a hard cap instead of the whole lux tax thing will make it so teams can't put together superstar rosters.

What was the point of watching the NBA in the 60s & 80s with Boston and LA winning most of the time?

The 90s with the Bulls?

The 2000s with the Lakers and Spurs?

Dynasties have been in the NBA forever and folks have always watched.

Would you say Bama and Clemson should get a cap for the number of 5 stars they sign?
