Called several places and they say they will have to send it in and the screen cost is $150. I'm trying to weigh that cost with replacing it next year. I'll probably end up going that route even though i'll be without my phone several days. Work will just have to understand and get over it since they don't pay me anything for it anyway.

Shattered the screen on my 6 couple weeks back and I too was debating fixing old phone or shelling out the coin for the new 8. So I had the screen replaced for $109. Ever since then its been acting up. It will mute calls randomly, face time people even though Im on Bluetooth in my truck. This morning I was dialing a number and it wasn't dialing the numbers I was pushing. called the wrong number 3 times before I realized what was going on

Moral of the story.... buy a new phone instead if fixing the broken one.

sorry i just realized you're in a smaller town.

there's a place here in nashville called ijunkiez next to a gyro place. they always have groupons for $75 screen repair but honestly if you just walk in and tell them they'll honor that price without having to jump through the groupon hoop..i think they actually save money by not honoring a groupon for that price anyway.

at any rate, i go next door, eat a gyro, then when i'm done they're done.

phone always looks perfect. for some reason my wife CANNOT keep from breaking her iphone screens. i literally haven't broken a screen on the last 3 phones i've owned by i bet between her and my daughter i've replaced the glass on their ihpones at least 6x
