Sometimes my kids wear long sleeve UV shirts to the beach, but we are usually at the beach every other week year round. Not only is it more protective than sunscreen, its also easier on parents because we don't have to constantly reapply all day. On the other hand, I don't make my kids wear helmets when riding bikes, so WTF do I know.
