Why is it that when someone wants to point out some positive thoughts on this program, people have to take every negative that they can think of to throw at them?

But you didn't start this thread just to point out "positive thoughts". The thread title is literally "Les vs CEO" and some of the comparisons aren't supported by any data.

Recruiting to this point is not on par with recent years and more players have been lost to Bama than before. Offensive production is down from 2 years ago. All of this was backed up in this thread.

Two conference wins and hope aren't the basis for a bright-looking future. Pointing that out isn't negativity, praising Les, bashing O or whatever else you want to call it.

LSU had a lot of needs in recruiting this year. With Shelvin and Feoko (or WTH his name is) not playing, Dline is the only spot that I can think of that needs weren't met. 20 freshmen playing (most of them 4 stars btw), tells me that needs were met and made an immediate impact. They played like freshmen who have no college game experience, especially on the right side of the offensive line. You can't send the amount of talent/experience to the NFL that we did, install a new offense and expect to have the same results. If we aren't competing for championships with the depth and experience that these freshmen will have in two years then I will lose hope under CEO. I was a Les supporter all the way through to the Wisconsin game when I saw more of the same stagnant offense with an underperforming quarterback that the last 5 years produced (minus one year with Met and two NFL stud receivers). CEO wasn't my first choice, but until he develops a body of work (a half season is too small of a sample size to jump ship) that isn't worthy of being LSU's coach, I'm going to have hope. Tards who think LSU sucks and has no hope...life must be sad for you as an LSU fan.
