230 kickoffs mean you are worth watching, the more the merrier.

Just need 1 or 2 primetime SEC snotknockers a year, Bama or Florida depending on the year and maybe Aggy when they come here.

Since LSU has won the last two games & both had 2:30 PM kickoffs, there is nothing wrong with them.

Wasn’t a mass exit because...

9 point game at half against Top-10 opponent.
Les Miles & 2007 Nat’l Championship Team were in the building.

2:30 pm kickoffs suck because Tiger Stadium is a brick fricking oven. THAT is a good reason why the place didn’t look full on TV...however in the 4th QTR it sounded more than full.

I don't mind a 230pm game when it is cool. You are right about the all day drinking and eating. It takes a toll on you and by 9pm, you are done.

Give me a night game anytime. I sit on the east side and saw people leave at half time because of heat. We were baking but it was worth it. Would of been much better at night.

Night games are an LSU tradition.

it seems like people are more likely to leave earlier during a night game
I said the same thing when the 230 time was announced. Tailgating has become bigger then the game to some. Sad but true.

LSU hasn't lost a CBS day game at home in like 10 years.

So yes.

I prefer night games, but I don't deny it is nice to leave an LSU game and have some day (11:00 start) or evening (2:30 start) left.

As much as I used to fricking despise Jefferson-Pilot games in the old days, leaving the stadium with the rest of the day ahead was very nice.

I much prefer a 75 degree w cool breeze 230 start in October than any night game. That being said the unseasonably warm day was not good for the eastsiders.
