Has O been very transparent? Didn’t really release names of suspended players for week 1. Has yet to say why Herron has been gone for so long. Locked the media out of practice during the summer leading up to the season...

Do you understand the definition of transparency.

What? O won't even tell people who is injured and suspended or when they will be back. He plays games every week with who is questionable vs who won't play. How the frick is Ed transparent?

You're probably referring to the "you can have the AD-HC-OC-DC meeting, but don't tell anybody" but that leaking is Alleva. Just like the '15 plan to fire Miles was leaked by Alleva. That's not the same as football program transparency.

Throwing multiple groups of players under the bus to the media (including one for which he never hired a coach) is now considered "transparency"?

well, for one, the offense. He was pretty as a matter of fact explaining how he meddled in it during the Troy game (and maybe the State game). And, it was obvious that he didn't in the Florida game.

O pretty much answers questions while Miles provided an in depth bullshite response. O bullshits too, but he answers the question(s).

You really think this makes anybody's top 10 of issues they might have with O as coach?

it's what many fans wanted, and those same fans hated that Miles wouldn't show his cards. They wanted Miles to throw coaches under the bus.

And getting skull drug by state and the fact that he never should have been hired in the first place, which is more of an indictment of Alleva for falling for O and Ponamsky's con job

My problem with Miles wasn't transparency as much as it was him no longer being able to articulate an actual response. O is speaking long enough to say "no excuses" immediately followed by "it's this group's fault".

So, he's transparent about stuff he promised he wouldn't do? Congrats

Orgeron was extremely transparent last season while he was campaigning for the job.

Since getting officially hired, he's probably been the least transparent coach in the nation.

Alleva and LSU took a big chance with the hire. They took an approach that could be where other programs go, and that's going with low-paid coach surrounded by the highest paid coordinators. I'll admit that I was interested to see how this all works out.

while I agree that we could have made a better hire for coach, I also thought that it was an interesting yet risky approach by LSU to do what they've done. I'm still hopeful.

I don't hate O because of anything to do with information.
