Shaun King?Verified account @ShaunKing Follow More Jemele Hill was basically suspended for being Black and thoughtful while at ESPN. Her suspension is completely outrageous.

Um, no. Hill was suspended for sending out incredibly stupid posts telling people to boycott advertisers because of political differences with Jerry Jones. Hello? People are already boycotting the NFL, ESPN and others because of political differences. Sure, Hill's post will get people that agree with her political views to boycott some of the advertisers she listed. Even moreso, people that are already alienated and not tuning in to ESPN or NFL games will feel vindicated by Hill's remarks, and likely will have a few more join their ranks. Stupid is as stupid does.
