He's not a bad QB. He has issues and improvements are needed in order to keep his job, but bad no way.

Etling isn't a bad QB, but the problems on the line really highlight his weaknesses, as it would for many QBs who are considered "good". Add to that receivers dropping or running bad routes and we have what we see at present.

A "bad" QB in this situation would have several INTs and tackles behind the LOS.

I upvoted, but I disagree that he's "bad". He's just mediocre to me. But, yes, he has a glaring inability to see the entire field. I don't care if DW was his fourth option on that pass he tried to force to Sullivan. He should have recognized the coverage and immediately dumped it to DW. Also, if you look at the image of that play, Sullivan was open coming out of his break and Gage was wide open as well.
