I don't really drink Pinot. I love Zinfandel though
Not sure what you consider affordable, but this is my friends vineyard. He is a retired doctor from NOLA, who moved out to his vineyard full-time rather than rebuild after Katrina. His Zins are incredible.
I make sure to have a few bottle of his Old Vine Zin and Estate Zin on hand at all times

Macmurray Pinot noir
Oyster bay pinot noir
Bogle old vine zinfandel
7 deadly zins zinfandel - #1 selling zin. From Michael David winery in Lodi (zinfandel capitol of the world)
Under $25ish
Wente riva ranch pinot noir
meiomi pinot noir
Michael David earthquake zin
Moss roxx zinfandel. Another from Lodi.
$25ish to $60
J vineyards pinot noir
Etude pinot noir carneros
Orin Swift slander pinot noir
Rombauer zinfandel
Anything from the michael David 7 deadly line zins. Gluttony, sloth, greed, rage so far.
