Well,not sure I can convince you otherwise that UT was pursuing Saban. I never once said he it was a done deal. My source at UT is very well placed.

By the way, in case your reading comprehension skills are not strong, pretty sure the bit about Alleva just changing the name on the contract from Herman to O was just a joke by the writer.

Not sure you can convince me Texas was pursuing Saban? Are you really trying to act like you were the only person, or one of very few, with this "information" and it wasn't openly talked about across the country at the time?

Maybe I was wrong and you didn't say it was a done deal. I'm not going to go back to through your post history. But upon re-reading what you posted, the phrase "UT confident Saban will take the job" appears. That is at least as much, if not more, a statement that Saban will be coaching at Texas as finebaum "corroborating" your information from that post by referencing literally none of those details in the article you linked.

By the way, in case your reading comprehension skills are not strong, that is a quote from an article, not something said on the radio as sarcasm.
