He was actually solid in the Colbert Report. It's just it was covered by a character and he's become obsessed with Trump which has ruined his interview skills.

Really Fallon just sucks at interviewing as well. Conan is the only good interviewer left in late night.

Well what the hell happened? I enjoyed Jon Stewart even though he played the "I'm just a measly comedian my opinion doesn't mean shite" card way to often. My favorite living comedian is Bill Burr and his interview with Colbert is one of the worst of all time. How the frick do you bomb with Bill Burr?

His O'Reilly shtick was funny as hell at first but it eventually got old. Unfortunately that's all he had. He hasn't said anything funny in years.

I always liked the Colbert Report and thought it did a good job at making comedy out of the news. But that was while Obama was in office, before Colbert went into full melt mode nightly.
