This. From JFK to Vietnam to Watergate to CIA coups in foreign countries to Iran Contra to WMD's in Iraq to NSA spying to government unmasking, there is zero reason to trust anything our government tells us. If we had a government that earned the trust of its citizens by being honest and transparent, there wouldn't be widespread conspiracy theories about every tragic event that occurs. But when you have a government full of James Clapper's, it makes it easy to believe something nefarious is occurring.
