$1.7 mil? Out of a department that profited $55 million during the 2015-2016 academic year, That is very manageable even if TAF contributes 0 the buyout.

The LSU athlete dept can easily afford to fire him. The biggest hurdle is the public perception. It looks bad to fire anyone after a year on the job. It looks bad to hand over another $9 million to a coach for not coaching. I'm hoping they will say screw perception.
