That's why I asked him about the nerve root impingement. He won't answer, I'm assuming there is none noted on the MRI. Many people with herniated disks are not surgical. It's all about the impingement on the nerves.

I don't know anything about nerves on the report. I don't see mention. Is "occluding the left subarticlur recess l5s1" nerve related?

Impingement of the root can cause of it as well as narrowing of the foramina. Subarticular is another word for it.
