American health care system more expensive due to consumer preferences?

To what extent do we spend more on HC because we like the shiniest, most up to date technology and care, even if older methods and tech ar just as effective?
I'm currently wearing a heart monitor called ziopatch that is the size of a large bandaid. In the past, you had to wear those big-arse monitors with wires and shite. Mine is just a patch, and it measures by Rhythm for 2 weeks. It is more expensive because of the tech.
We as a society probably overpay on cars, too. We could massively lower our dnational spending on cars by outlawing the purchase of cars from more expensive makers. We could lower our spending on food by mandating non-brand consumption
Even if the newer, most expensive new medical technology and care isn't more effective than older stuff, if Americans want to "waste" the money do to speak, why stop them?

There's just way too many leftist beta males that are driving up all of the prices just from being so beta.

Think less about the new, shiny toys.
And more about the lengths we are willing to go to preserve the life of those closest to us. And all the money we're willing to pay for that. I think that is far more of a cost driver than a new fibroscan machine or something similar. And it will also be the very first thing rationed in any developed socialized medicine system...as it should be. Its the most expensive and most inefficient use of care possible. We in the US are still given that option though...for now.
IMO.

The ERs are filled with beta libs who were triggered and injured by microaggressions.

Normally, the related and more salient problem is the US vs International price differential paid for that equipment. Interestingly your Zio Patch may be an exception. I believe the UK price is about $1100, all in. iRhythm Tech claims that's similar to US costs.

Our healthcare is more expensive because 450 pound women that don't have health insurance go to the er in the ambulance complaining about chest pains when the problem is that they have an Oreo stuck in a fat roll

Beta males don't want to roll up their sleeves and get to work for their health insurance. They'd rather stay at their parents house, make YouTube videos bitching about Trump, and demand free health care.

A lot of people can get whatever they want for nothing.
Costs are high?
Too bad people who pay have no clout
