I'll bite.
Did he win? Sure. It was a non-issue and he stirred it up, threw his base some red meat, and ultimately has the NFL capitulating. I kind of enjoyed watching all the hand-wringing and I always love a good culture war fight.
That being said, I was kind of hoping for some sort of healthcare win. Instead, we're what...0 for 4 now? The whole "pump up legislative action, fail, divert attention to something pointless" deal is getting old. He's clearly good at rallying the troops and putting the heat on people/groups/organizations, why is he wasting that energy on stupid shite like the NFL? Give me something tangible.

American pride is about as tangible as you can get my friend. Without it, what else does it matter what you have. If it wasn't for the American spirit we wouldn't have many of those tangibles you speak of.
