" The Les lovers the last few year"
The difference, which you have to have your head stuck in the sand not to notice, is that Miles had build up some capital with his past years of elite success that carried him through the lean, for LSU, period.
Unfortunately, for Coach O, he has no such capital build up.
This idea that LSU has suddenly become so talentless that a Miss. St. could abuse us on the football field is laughable if it wasn't so sad.
Take care of me and I will take care of you. Do harm to what I care for and you are on your own.

I see the last 10 win season in 2013...period.
Miles lost 3 or less games 5 of the last 6 years.
Does your gut tell you CEO can even approach this, much less surpass it?

A better question is why fire Les if you are going to replace him with a DL coach who was a fricking laughing stock failure the last time he tried to run an SEC team? That makes no fricking sense and ANYONE with an IQ out of the retarded range should have know it. LSU should not be a second change school. It should be a school where proven winners come to even win more.
Thinking that Les had to go no matter who we replaced him with is about as simple minded as it comes.

Don't know at this point in the season. Not a big enough sample size so far this year.
Now...if florida wipes the floor with us...then we will know State game was not a fluke.

That is literally his main job. Everything else is a distant second.
Saying this 'isnt about wins' is conceding the hire was horrible.

Four games into the season, three games against shite completion, one game against a SEC team that got skull fricked the next weekend, and you don't know?
None of us know the future, but unless this team pulls a 180 this season is headed for the crapper and so might LSU football. The fact you still cant admit what we all can clearly see should tell everyone all they need to know about your football IQ.

you may be right. Every team is gonna have a terrible game.
I don't think Georgia was that good and State was that bad. But it happens. Like I posted a week or so ago...we will know everything we need to know about CEO's squad this year after the UF game.

Yeah. Don't understand that mindset at all.
Les had to go, ON CONDITION that we get someone better.
Anyone can check my posts. I had a wait-and-see attitude after they fired Les. I just never in my wildest dreams actually thought they'd pick old Eddie O, the poor guy that just can't catch a break and who everyone was out to destroy at OM.
Poor guy just needs us to give him a chance, that he's still not getting here.

Miles really fricked recruiting

Thats a third of the season nimrod. Things can improve or go south...you don't know jack about what WILL happen, but we will know for sure after the 7th.

Wha...that this team is struggling? Of course I know what that looks like....I lived thru the last few years of Miles.

His last 3 classes were #2, #5, and #2, so if you meant by getting canned and his replacement's class ranked #7, yes.

Anytime you fire a coach who is winning to the point his last team is nationally ranked, you take a gamble. that's understood, but you don't then hire a DL coach who was a terrible failure the last time he ran a problem and expect better results than you were already getting.

Les had to go
I had no problem with that.

I had a major shite storm with that. The O's of the world don't get second chances at the LSU's of the world. And it has nothing to do with hating O.
My anger is not so much directed at O as it is at Alleva. He has been a clusterfrick at Duke and LSU.

You're the one that sounds like a mouth breather. The f'n constant whining and complaining has gotten old. You m'fers keep regurgitating each other's spoog. Stick to the in-game and post-game meltdown threads. There needs to be a fenced in area to keep you keyboard outlaws.
It was time for a change from Les. It was time for him to go!! It is obvious by the amount of all his job interviews/offers that teams I agree that O is/was not a sexy pick but it is what it is.
The guy took over a team full of challenges as would any coach hired not named O. With change, comes attrition and inherited challenges. He is still 9-3 overall and 3-1 this year.
Some kids left that didn't want to be here...whether it was O ripping of his shirt and challenging their soft asses or if they saw a better opportunity elsewhere, who gives a shite they are gone. Move on.
It's a new offense and a defense that are playing a ton of guys that have little to no experience in college football. Aside from the bigger issues of line depth on both sides, there is no veteran leadership on either side of the ball. Guice? Etling? Donte? Arden? Nope.
Let this shite play out. If we can't see improvement along the way then that is when it's time to be freaking out. One thing is for certain, the mouth breather population with cell phones and keyboards is very busy not working.

You think this is bad? Wait until after UF and those that were "giving him a chance" throw in the towel.

To be fair, you omitted a little detail yourself. The #7 class had a higher class score than the #5 class. Last year's class would have been ranked 3rd in 2015.
Anyway, just thought I'd point that out.
Your point is taken, though. Other than letting us get thin at d line and linebacker, Miles was definitely still recruiting at a high level.

As is any rational Tiger fan. I'm not going to hold it against O because he went for his dream job and got it.

What kind of failures did you have 10 years ago? Were you able to overcome them?
The guy was given the job. Should he have turned it down because he sucked at Ole Miss?

So you maybe the primary focus needs to be elsewhere? Don't forget that he just hired Wade. What happens if they stumble out of the gate?
