Could it divide the locker room?

Ben is breaking ranks it seems. Clearly the team couldn't figure out a consensus on what to do.

Tomlin likely meant well by keeping them in the locker room - non-committal and not being controversial by the players not having a choice. He likely sees the writing on the wall and they'll come out next time.

They shouldn't have tried to do something unanimously.

Go out there and let the kneelers kneel and the standers stand. That's kind of the whole fricking point that 29 other teams seemed to get yesterday that somehow eluded the Steelers.
