With my job, we can't even put stickers on our cars, signs in our yards, or talk politics on social media. Some of us do anyway, but if caught you have to deal with the consequences. Does this policy chap my arse some? Yes, but I like my job so I'm willing to play ball. It should be the same for the players.

Why? You think every other company in the country should be required to operate their business the same as your company operates theirs?

Except that isn't the NFL's policy.

Do you think we should force private employers to enact speech codes for their workers?

Their CBA says nah.

I bet if this thing does end up hurting the league and the owners are willing to let players start smoking the Devil's Lettuce, they can get mandatory standing for the anthem added, though, so keep up that boycott if it really matters that much to you.
