For those saying boycotts don't work.

Ask Target
The NFL is going to lose thousands of viewers over this.

The boycott cost the company millions in lost sales and added expenses. Shopper traffic and same-store sales started sliding for the first time in years after the blog post, and the company was forced to spend $20 million installing single-occupancy bathrooms in all its stores to give critics of the policy more privacy.
The NFL is going to lose thousands of viewers over this.

Bookmarked. Tuesday is going to be rough. Millions.

Even if they do lose thousands of viewers, it's not going to make a significant dent in their bottom line and it will still be the most watched sport in the US.

One is a retail store, the other is an entertainment event you can watch on your TV.
This is not apples to apples.

No one watching those shitty Thursday night games is already costing Millions upon Millions

What do you think is going to happen when those millions of people wake up and go outside on a Sunday?

Yes but the ramifications go far beyond ratings. How are most stadiums partially funded? Tax payer money. See how well that goes IF this doesn't get resolved.

They're going to get bored, walk back inside and turn football back on

Right, I would say it would be easier to avoid the entertainment than a store that has goods that you need.

Did Target change their policy?
Posted on 9/24/17 at 8:45 pm to Franktowntiger7
Are you ready to give up your Verison and stop drinking Budweiser? Or give up your Visa card? Or playing Madden on your Xbox? Wear Nike products? And many, many other things?
Otherwise, the NFL doesn't care.

If stadiums dont sell out to their quota then you have a potential black out. The team either has to buy the tickets and eat them or lose a broadcast and the revenue. The NFL is going to have a busy damage control week ahead of them.

Not everyone lives in the shite hole south my friend. Some of us have millions of acres of hiking and camping to explore where football isn’t life.

Not really. The NFL has a monopoly on professional football, if you want to watch pro football you are watching them. If you want to buy a good that target sales you can just go get the same thing from one of the countless other stores that sells the same thing. This is a bad comparison for your argument.

It kinda works the other way around
