Malone wanted to leave to go into law enforcement. O asked him to reconsider and he stayed. My thought was, why not do both. Before the Bama game, he could have checked their roster for outstanding warrants and parole violations. Win/Win!

I believe Malone already has his degree and was considering leaving football to become a US Marshal.
