BUT we have a qb in the future. the product on the field this year would be worse if miles was still coach because he had mailed it in. this team is very young on defense and wr and w/o a quality OL we are very limited in what we can do. that's tough but that's reality. who the coach is for THIS YEAR really would make no difference; we just don't have the trench players (OL).

GrandDad, You can make an argument that both Orgeron and Alleva recognized this coming (although injuries made it worse) and THAT was the factor justifying the 12 million buy out (to give the new HC time to deal with the mess).
I personally do not buy that explanation, but nothing else explains such a huge buy our for an unqualified HC.

I agree with everything, except I'm not sure Myles is the answer to the future.
