let me guess... we can't understand God's will/timing/reason/etc. when things like that happen... b/c i was told God is just and right... how is a child, not an adult, a child, dying of cancer just? how is that right? again, don't give me some bullshite sunday school answer about the "mysterious" nature of God... backup your belief, as to how and why that situation would be just and/or right, in YOUR opinion...

The answer to death is sin. Everyone is guilty of it, even children, whether it is their own actual sins or the original sin of our original parents. All are guilty and that's why we need Jesus' representation on our behalf. We are guilty because of Adam and we are innocent because of Christ. That is, if we have faith in Him.

oh good grief. yes, this is part of life. explain how the universe should not have any pain and do so without using smuggled in authority. good luck

"just" and "right" are not part of the issue of pain/suffering. what you are trying to do is say that you have more authority to decide what should/shouldn't have been part of creation than the actual creator himself who has infinitely more knowledge than you do. hence, smuggled in authority. just because you don't like some aspect of creation doesn't mean you know more than God.

how about studying the issue of suffering/pain at a scholarly level? if you had done so, you wouldn't have started introducing irrelevant concepts like "just" and "right."
