re: Why would any parent push their child to play RB?

I still think this sort of thing is weeded out by varsity high school football 99% of the time. You have found what best position suits you, if that's RB then that's RB. Yes there NFL careers are short but most teams have 3-4 and a lot of them come from out of no where schools. It's one of the more easier positions to get your shot at I feel.
