Looking to TD for advice. Never been to Boston before, going for a long weekend and leaving next Thursday. Going to be with the wife and another couple. Everyone is in the 30 year old range. Doing the Red Sox game on Friday but don't have much else planned. Staying at an air bnb in the beacon hill area. Any recs for things to do during the day, restaurants, bars or can't miss attractions would be great. Not really into art museums but if there are any great history museums please let me know. Would love to catch the LSU game if there's any SEC bars y'all know of. TIA

Paging AbitaFan08. Myself and a few friends went around this time last year and he gave plenty of great suggestions of things to do. If wanting to watch the LSU game, The Bleacher Bar is a must visit. It's the LSU Alumni Bar in Boston and they do a great job of making you feel welcome. I would suggest going to Harpoon Brewery as well. They have some great beers. Make sure to do the tour and have some pretzels while there. Both Bleacher Bar and Harpoon were suggested to us and didn't disappoint. Hope this helps some!

ETA I meant Baseball Tavern for LSU Alumni Bar lol

Appreciate the shout out.

But to correct you, the alumni bar is actually the Baseball Tavern. It's right across the street from Fenway, so that's an understandable mistake. The Bleacher Bar is cool to go to if you aren't catching a game, but since the OP is, I would say you can skip that.

Are you beer people? Cocktails? What kind of foods are you into/wanting to have while you're here.

I'm in the same age range and married as well, so I would venture a guess that I can steer y'all in the right direction.

ETA: If you're coming next week, definitely keep an eye on the forecast. Definitely beginning to feel like fall here, so it may be cooler than you're expecting.

I can reiterate the beer guide. Trillium, Nightshift, and Lord Hobo and all great breweries. You can only buy and leave at the Trillium downtown by water, but can drink there at the Canton location. Also they run a beer garden downtown, but not sure what date it shuts down. If you want to travel a little bit, Treehouse Brewing isn't too far and of course is great.

For bars, I enjoyed the food and drinks at Lord Hobo over by MIT and also the Gingerman downtown.

I would suggest trillium gardens over the brewery because you can be outdoors.
Santarpios over Reginas as well in my opinion for great pizza. That's an ongoing debate in the city though.
Do not go to Legal Seafood
