I will fight whoever downvoted me. 
IX (and its music) is on my list of GOATs. I adore X too, so please don't think of it as a diss.
Indeed. It can be a bit slow in parts, but the main story is kinda good in FF14. It's a very different plot than a traditional Final Fantasy, but it's similar enough to stand out from other MMOs. At this point, I'm playing the game for the MSQ.

IX is the greatest game of all time and nothing else comes close in my mind.
X is barely top 5 when it comes to Final Fantasy games with VI, VII, and IV ahead of it.
