amazing this "rebuild narrative" has been created in just a few days. nobody was mentioning a rebuild until after state drilled us by 30.

It's the reincarnation of the Pumpers and the "We're young", and "Wait 'til next year" bunch. They never left. They just hibernated. It'll get much worse and agonizing as they emerge and begin to procreate.

This is what I have posted several times since Saturday. All that sunshine and rainbows and O Canada, and barely anybody was worried about the OL or DL or WRs.
Now people finally open there eyes and see a shite show.
I have been talking about a rebuild since last year. Stating not only the talent we lose, but the experienced talent at that. I've been saying 8-4/9-3 but people just closed their eyes and ears and shouted, "10-2, 11-1, we'll be at Bama ".
Now people actually see the problems.
The people of Louisiana continue to let me down with their ignorance.

bullshite
I posted several times in the offseason that this team had glaring weaknesses but somehow that didn't matter because O was hired for continuity (OP was one of the main ones dismissing my point). As I posted then, no matter who the coach was LSU had issues on both lines, a below average qb situation, was replacing anyone who mattered on D, and new WRs. LSU could have hired Nick Saban. It doesn't automatically change the roster over night. The fact is, LSU's recruiting success has been propped up by a few highly rated players and in a lot of cases those players aren't contributing or aren't even with the program anymore.
What's happened is people gave the first two games way too much credit and now everyone is freaking out because they deluded themselves into thinking this could be a contender. Having that ripped away in 3 hours sucks.
I don't think it's ever ok for LSU to get drummed by State. Let that be clear. I have serious doubts about Orgeron doing anything remotely positive at LSU.
