Virtually every coach has a buyout. Why should O be a complete and utter fool like you are?

This is so damn dumb. If Joe would have said- your buyout will be 75% of your salary you think O would have said no to LSU and went and applied for another job? He wouldn't have gotten an interview for the Houston job.

Also that's exactly what his buyout was at Ole Miss. 75% of his salary.

High buyouts are used to protect the school from other schools stealing prized coaches. Justin Fuente had a 7 million dollar buyout at VT (which is why we didn't even go after him). No one in their right mind is going to come take Ed and no one in hell is gonna pay to take him.

They don't all have $12M buyouts and a losing record. 3 or 4 Million buyout would have been respectable and fair. $12M is atrocious. 8M would be bad. If they don't fire Alleva, they need to ban him from any contract negotiations.

Are you fricking kidding me? NOBODY ELSE wanted that motherfricker. He wasn't even getting interviews. In all honesty, he should have been grateful to have consideration at all.
