I think its pretty fair to say he didn't deserve to be hired to coach at LSU. He deserved thar shot he got at OM and look how that turned out.

Who in the frick was the D Line coach the last couple of years?

Scarbrough is a dipshit. Always an apologist sunshine pumper.

Miami had a run of about 10 years where they constantly had to replace underclassmen leaving for the NFL and they did fine for a decade.
Coincidently , LSU has a had a similar and more recent run .

Two years to recruit and develop. I understand everyone needs time but it's not like he has just walked through that door

Additionally , the last few recruiting classes have only been top 5 in nature .
Plus a returning QB and a Heisman hopeful at RB...Ed Orgeron definitely had the deck stacked against him.
Thankfully , LSU made this hire knowing he is thoroughly capable of handling such a bare cupboard.
Miles obviously got by on talent and luck the last 11 years , but in an unexprected twist of irony ALL those decade old chickens have come home to roost on Ed Orgeron.
Life gives you roosting chickens, you make gumbo.
Right?

Somewhat disagree.
The OL situation is in bad shape due to the high amount of transfers.
DL is just a combination of unfortunate injuries and other stuff. A healthy Lawrence, Herron, and Ed Alexander makes a difference in the Miss St. game. Also an available Tyler Shelvin gives you another option at NT.

Since LSU produces AS MANY OR MORE NFL players, why doesn't Saban and BAMA ever gave the same issue!!!! Excuses!

I was told that any bum could win 10 games at LSU.
To be fair, those folks foolishly assumed that Alleva would replace Miles with a coach who had compiled a winning record as an FBS head coach.

our dline will be night n day different when RL and Herron come back. Hard to think that will make enough difference but it will.

I don't give a chit who's watch it was or is. Grimes should have been let go as soon as Ed was given the job. Hire Kevin Mawe. Retire Jenkins and go get Karl Dunbar. Do it now.

Just like Auburn fans said will get recruits with a high star rating and won't develop them.

It was time for Miles to go, you know that.
As much as I hated the Orgeron hire, it doesn't change the fact that Miles needed to go.

He must read the Rant. You can find basically all that info here from average fans.

No he's playing the hand that he politicked and implemented a master propaganda campaign with the local media and former players for under the pretense that if he was hired to be head coach there would only be continuity and no rebuild would be necessary.
