The curse of LF7

Getting LF7 and having 4 years of mediocre QBs since Mett has essentially made us at best a run first and too often a run only team. And now that DG5 is the best player on the team, it's the same strategy. Let's face it: for O to turn this around, we must become a pass first team that opens up the run (see Mett OBJ, Landry, Hill) instead of what we've been and are and that's run first to open up very limited passing attack.

Out of a variety of formations, any qb should run the all sorts of passing via bootlegs, designed rollouts, screens, etc all on a variety of intermediate routes....in other words what we haven't been able to do since Mett.

I hope O knows win or lose, this is his last stop. No NFL in any capacity. No lateral move a la Urban Meyer. No lesser school (you take two assistant jobs and the head coach gets fired and you become HC, no one is hiring you especially if you mess it up at LSU). Changes beyond making players run is needed
