Right now you're battling:
1. The sports bubble already beginning to pop. Home entertainment systems have some a long way, technologically and in affordability. People are just starting to prefer the in home experience vs. being there.
2. LSU is currently a very mediocre product with a really uninteresting schedule. Who wants to fight the hassle of game day crap to see us slog it out with random directional schools from across the country? The greed for neutral site games has just killed the home and home. Yet prices for tickets have increased, a push back was inevitable.

Honestly I believe its more of the dumpster fire of the logistics that is getting/leaving LSU for a game.

It pains me to see the stadium file out so early half the time, but if its people trying to get home you know before 3 am, then I can't say as I blame them entirely.

But like many people have said, winning does cure a lot of things. People will pay the price of season tickets and expensive concessions and even deal with the paying to park if they have a championship type team to watch that is playing for something. When the dumpster fire starts to get lit, (Which is whats happening now), its going to get ugly quick.

BilJ I don't disagree with what you are saying. Those are all factors. But if the team was dominant like 2011 the stadium would be packed. Anyone whining about "hassle" would have no problem finding someone else to go. By contrast offering $2 cokes and $3 nachos and free parking will not bring fans out to see 7-5 level LSU play directional MAC/Sun Belt or FCS teams. That's all I'm saying.
