t isn't about being like everyone else. That's LSU's problem. If you aren't going to win and win big (and we're not), you're going to have to address the fan service.

That is the stupidest reasoning I have heard and a prime example of who so many businesses fail. Not saying they will fail but it shows no thought is put into what they are doing
What in the hell are you guys talking about

I'm not opening a business so I really have no idea what that means and pointing out in stadium concession prices being high at LSU is not unique to LSU is not saying we should do it because every one else does. My point is, that while people bitch about it all the time, it has little, I would suggest actually zero impact on fan attendance. Lowering prices like Blank is little more than a gimmick, a nice gesture I suppose from a guy fleecing tax payers, but it will have no impact on attendance.
Winning will always bring fans. Concession prices were not lower in 2011, 2012, 2003 etc and we had packed houses. They are not cheaper in the dome when NC tickets were going for 800-1000+. A championship contender will increase attendance, improved schedules would help.

Right now you're battling:
1. The sports bubble already beginning to pop. Home entertainment systems have some a long way, technologically and in affordability. People are just starting to prefer the in home experience vs. being there.
2. LSU is currently a very mediocre product with a really uninteresting schedule. Who wants to fight the hassle of game day crap to see us slog it out with random directional schools from across the country? The greed for neutral site games has just killed the home and home. Yet prices for tickets have increased, a push back was inevitable.
