re: Lets be honest. If we fired O tom., does anyone have faith in Alleva making a good hire?

I don't think I've ever wanted to see someone fired more than I do Alleva. And that includes all coaches in all sports going back to the 80s.
After the debacle at Duke that Alleva was involved in, it pisses me off that he was even given an interview here much less hired.

At Duke and LSU, Alleva has been consistent in his actions. Compare the Duke fiasco where he ruined the careers and lives of several innocent people by caving in to a hoax to his LSU exploits, especially the Miles firing and O hiring. He proved himself to be spineless, lazy, and perfectly willing to cave in and go for the easy solution in order to take the heat off of his own arse. He is not leader. He is nothing more than a sniveling, cowardly politician. Frick him.
