$30k per year for a mortgage isn't what I consider a mansion. I live in a $515k house, for a 30 year mortgage, 3.5% int. rate, taxes, ins, with 20% down gets me close to that $30k number. I pay $27k. Utility bills have nothing to do with it.

Yeah, I'm not commenting on his mortgage note. I'm talking about his 12k a year in utilitys.
