I hope CEO looks in his own back yard, there's a kid at Central Lafourche that can flat out play football. His position is WR, but he does it all for his team. Last night he had a punt block that he scooped up and ran in for TD, he has scored every way imaginable for his team so far this year even though the opposing teams have got to be scheming against him. Check this kid out, his grades are great and comes from a great family, he's the type of kid in a coach would love to have. GEAUX TIGAS!!!

He's currently committed to Nicholls. My selfish side would like to see him stay with that, but I'm hoping he does start pulling in nice offers.

He is out with a torn ACL, so I'm not real sure what that did to his recruiting process.

Have you seen David play this year? And if you have, do you think he has the talent or skills to play at LSU?

If David played for one of the River schools he'd already have SEC offers.

No, the basketball player's son used to play at Notre Dame, but suffered a career ending injury.

1-2, lost to EDW, Carver and beat SL. This year's team is super super young and inexperienced. They're starting 8 soph & 8 juniors, because a handful of starters quit over the summer.

Overall they look better than last year defensively, maybe not as talented, but Vedros has cut back on the blitzing, so the linebackers aren't out of position and getting gashed as much. There's only 1 senior starting on defense and 1 rotating. And all the backups are underclassmen as well.

Robinson is in beast mode this year. He had 200 yards rushing & 2 td's vs EDW, he returned 2 kicks for tds & had a rushing, and receiving td vs Carver, and vs SL he rushed for 2 tds and blocked a punt that he returned for a TD.

He's easily good enough to play at a P5. The problem other than playing for a school like CL that hasn't been known for producing talent since the 90's is he went to camps earlier in the summer and his 40 times were high but he worked on his speed the rest of the summer and is running mid 4.5-4.59's now. He's been the fastest kid on the field every game this year. Even vs Carver that has a ton of speed, and he chased down EDW's QB Brandon Legendre who's a 4.4 guy and was the fastest guy at Tulane's camp this summer, from 5 yards back.

His measurable are basically the same as Kenan Jones now. 6'3.5 200lbs, 4.59 40, 35.5 Vertical.

What kind of nonsense is this? CL plays the RP schools in district (Hahnville, Destrehan, ESJ). And do you think Coach O, of all people, suddenly forgot who & where CL is??? If there is anyone worth recruiting on Bayou Lafourche, don't you think Coach O would know???

Coach O coaches all the SEC schools now? I said he'd have SEC offers if he played for a river school, not that he'd have an LSU offer. He's been the best receiver in this district since he was a sophomore, and that includes a number of D1 receivers, including Justin Jefferson that signed with LSU. This year is loaded instate for WR, so I understand why LSU wouldn't be interested, but if you don't think he'd be good enough to play big time football you've obviously not seen him play, as has almost everyone else.

He's not playing with the same kind of talent around him as a River school nor does he have the same quality coaching. He basically has to carry the team at CL right now. And recruiters aren't lining up to come watch bad Central Lafourche teams that have had pretty bad records for 2 decades now, and hasn't produced a D1 recruit since 2010.

David Robinson Jr. Highlights

vs South Lafourche

vs Carver

Also, if you think I'm just being a homer. Here's a couple other people's takes on Robinson.

Mike Detellier on Robinson

Chris Singleton on Robinson

CL almost always has a decent kicker. Loupe is the kicker the past couple years, he's pretty money from 45 and in. The kid that will be kicking next year is pretty good too.

Man we could use some possession receivers like him from what I saw this weekend but he really does not seem fast enough. From what I saw of your clip he snagged balls all over in some pretty bad traffic figure there is always room for a 6'4" possession receiver

Loupe doesn't ring a bell, what's the kid kicking next year's name? Maybe I'm thinking of a different kid
