Honestly I thought we were gonna blow it up at least a year ago. I hate to be negative because I love the saints and I'm thankful for what we got under Payton and Brees, but Brees is not gonna be around forever. He's got a couple of good years left at best, and if we keep him it's gonna cost a fortune and we'll remain saddled with personnel holes all over the field. This team needs a major overhaul soon and I'm not sure current management, ownership, and Payton are up to the task.

Point is, the season just started. Am I confident they'll be a playoff team at this point? No. But, they lost one game, away, against an elite defense. Blowing it up would be throwing in the towel with 15 games to go. That would be ridiculous. Let the rest of the year play out. If Payton has another 7-9 season, which seems likely, then you blow shite up.
