frat members were wearing orange jumpsuits, bandannas and chains and drew tattoos on themselves. Female party-goers wore “sexy cop” costumes.
Sounds like a great time.
I miss college.

It's got to be so exhausting to be perpetually offended. I can't imagine going through life like that.
Do these people some day wake up and realize how dismal they've made their own lives? Or do they just wallow in this constant state of victim hood until they die?
I don't believe they are actually deeply offended by any of this silly sh*t. I think these are largely people without a place to belong who have found belonging in these movements. And I think they really do sit around and try to figure out what can p*ss them off next. Like, "My best transgender girlfriend Sally got the greeks at Ole Miss to apologize for eating f*cking fruit. I can't let that b*tch outdo me." I don't for one minute believe anyone is actually upset by these day to day occurrences. I think they're upset they aren't included in normal activities. So they have made whining the norm now.
So they fit.
What's funny to me is what used to be the fringe--the freaks on parade culture we see everywhere--is now the norm and the counter culture is conservatism. They want to be seen as revolutionary, but they're just harpy and annoying, like everybody's grandma in the '60s.

This is what parties would look like if these nerds were allowed to get everything they wanted

Not enough ethnic diversity at that party.

I think they really believe in their cause and are actually offended. I also believe that they do this to piss people off and try to out-do each other as well.

Yeah, but the person in black is clearly trans. One trannie at a party is equal to like 3 POC.

It's the SJW version of the Three-Fifths Compromise.

A black transgendered person took the picture

I know that the fraternity did all the right things to try to alleviate the situation and called police when they were unable to do so....... but my fraternity would have kicked the living shite out of them and if unable would have called the Kappa Sigs, KAs, Lamb Chops, Dekes, and who else was needed to assist.
Like I said they did everything the correct and mature way.
But damn.

I bet the bulk of them are upper class white kids

I guess the fraternity can have a Rolling Stone swap party next where the sorority members make up all kinds of outlandish shite that can't be verified to make their hardcore GDI male friends jealous.

Just think about how miserable you would be if your idea of fun was preventing other people from having fun

The media narrative has almost completely shifted from white privilege to white supremacy.
Probably a good thing. The privilege argument/narrative has no substance, so the topic needs to be sensationalized even more in an effort to maintain traction. However, it will only turn more people off and expose the whole movement as a fraud.

Reading OP I started to wonder what kind of mental gymnastics a person has to do to be able to find the systematic racism in such far fetched things. I started to question if I have the capability of such creative thinking. Do these people find things, then try to create a narrative on how it is racist, or does that though just happen naturally.

These "protestors" would not have survived back then.

Dude, these people firmly believe that police were created to catch runaway slaves. Once you understand that, then this is a pretty easy one to grasp.

quote:Well yea, that's kinda how that whole freedom vs incarceration thing works.
“The predominantly white members of this fraternity got to take their costumes off at the end of the night, people trapped in the prison system do not."

The best part of that statement is that they're implying that prisoners are victims.

There needs to be a place to put these water heads that keeps them away from normal society. College isn't it because there are productive members of society trying to learn there.
