They are addressing that, but if you are voting on a 180 million dollar plan to improve sidewalks, synchronization of lights, landscaping, and bike paths shouldn't you have an idea of what they are talking about?

Ride around BR now. I see sidewalks and bike paths being covered over now with grass and mud. They aren't taking care of what we have now. I want to see us fix what we have and a plan for the new stuff, and what we have now isn't telling me much.

But I know 180 million dollars could go a long way if applied to fixing traffic and improving the surface streets if used wisely.

This sums up most people's attitude about any new tax proposals.

Why the frick am I supposed to give more money to the same people who piss away the money that they have now.?
