Idk what you are watching. I'm not saying Jackson shouldn't start but he's not an incredible CB that smothers receivers.
He's decent and has definitely earned the right to start but he has flaws.
His tackling is suspect, he often takes bad angles trying to undercut routes but arrives too late, his technique is often brushed aside as he relies on his speed. These are all flaws DJ has shown this year.
He also has plenty of positives which make him a pretty good player.
He's fast, he's experienced, he brings energy to the field, he's a good leader, he has good ball skills. This is just to name some.
Jackson is good enough to start and has earned it but neither he nor Tolliver (or greedy as of now) are anywhere near the level of Tre White, mo Claiborne, the honey badger, or Patrick Peterson.
While I do agree the it's jackson's spot and it should remain his until Tolliver proves something, don't try to put him in the same category as those cats above.

I don't think anyone is saying he's PP or Mo Claiborne, but he will play in the NFL and (unless something changes) will probably get drafted ahead of KT.
But this idea that KT is on those guys level and should put DJ on the bench is laughable.

Best objective post yet. I'll give DA and the staff credit, but the eye-test with DJ shows some chinks in his coverage armor.
Will be interesting to see how KT takes this depth chart situation. He has the size and talent, just needs to bring the focus.
In the end GLAD we have ALL of them as it is a long season and I'm betting they will all get opportunities to make impactful plays.

Oh... guys who haven't finished their third year aren't as good as some first round picks and a Heisman finalist? Dynamite analysis, dipshit
