No. The main and really only thing Hill brought to the table was being able to single cover top wings. They more or less replaced that ability by signing Tony Allen. As much time as we spend fretting about the middle and bottom of the roster, it's still all about Fire and Ice and if we get the better versions of Jrue and Rondo.

It is a huge loss considering how much we paid him. Constantly overpaying players who can't even stay on the court.

That is correct, and why these minimum signings, and doing something stupid like stretching Ajinca or Asik to add a minimum guy, will make very little difference to the teams success and ability to retain Cousins for the future.
