I came out here for a job opportunity. I lived in Mid City and 2016 was great. 2017 is when the straws began to break camel's backs IMO. Crime kept creeping closer and closer. Then the floods. Now there is literally violent crime on my block. Out.

Seems like all the momentum NOLA had established from around 2010-2015 is all but gone.

It's crazy how crime has gotten worse under Mitch. I mean I didn't think it could get any worse 5 years ago.

My SO lived around Milan from 15-16. The amount of 10-14 year old kids riding their bikes around casing porches and car doors was incredible. On week days, no less.
