agree that the The offense has been better. But who cares how the offense looks. Just win the damn game.

You know who cares how our offense looks? These offensive recruits we would need to be successful in years 2 and 3. It's obvious that you have no idea what you're talking about. You're talking out of your arse or you are an arse or both.

The team looked to be in the best shape I've seen in a very long time, top to bottom. The freshman on both sides were well prepared. It's obvious that Orgeron spent lots of time focusing on these guys in the offseason. It's funny that Coach Os first class is more mature then we've seen from a Les Miles class, maybe O is much better at evaluating character with Athletic ability, which is key IMO.

O was the recruiting coordinator so this wasn't all Les Miles recruits, and he kept the class together. When O took over LSU doubled its point total and the yards per game went up by 100 yards. Penalties were reduced, redzone efficiency went up, clock management had gotten better, and the teams moral went from 50 to 95.

The way he turned that team around immediately is what had me sold on him as HC of LSU. Not many people, if any could have done that. I wanted to see how the team would respond with an entire offseason under his tutelage. As I suspected they were in tip top shape, faster, stronger, more technically sound, and more focused then I've ever seen a Les Miles team in the first game, even in 2011, we started very slow until Honey Badger got the team going. This is all while playing more freshman then I've ever seen in a game opener. Players were suspended, no big deal, no let down, as you might expect from suspensions.

Time to get behind LSU and its HC whether you liked him being hired or not. He's got our Tigers playing some great football and with that, will likely close out this years recruiting class strong, to bolster this LSU roster even more so with high character athletes.

This isnt about Miles. Im all for Coach O. If hes not ready at this point in his career and with being handed this gold mine, then he'll never be ready. Lets just keep in mind, he inherited one of the all time great gigs in the history of the sport. And if you cant understand that, oh well thats your issue.

He went 6-2. When has that been great? 4-2 in conference. Scored 10 points in 2 HOME SEC losses. Only the Sugar Bowl at risk against Florida, a 2 TD favorite at HOME! And loses.
This is great? And he gets an A across the board from the original OP and the proof is in the pudding? Please...

Some of you want to give him credit for everything that happened good and no responsibility for anything that happened bad. Its like he took over at Ole fricking Miss and went 6-2 and kept all the recruits. Be a pumper. Thats your choice.

What did you expect? When he took the job, that all the players and coaches were going to lay down on him?

That he would lose all the recruits that he was the recruiting coordinator for and half of the games against one of the easiest SEC schedule in recent memory with a loaded roster full of NFl draft picks?

What 3 first rounders last yr probably 3 more this yr and 2 Sr ILB's.

Oh I forgot he beat BYU.

He was already on the staff had inside knowledge of the entire program including coaches and players. He took over a loaded roster and had the schedule of:

Missouri (4-8) In B. R.
Southern Miss (7-6) in B.R.
Mississippi (5-7) in B.R.
Alabama (14-1)shut out in B.R.
Arkansas (7-6) away
Florida (9-4) in B.R.
Texas A&M ( 8-5 ) away and had just lost the last 2 SEC games to Ole Miss and Miss St.

If you dont think there are 50 coaches that were already on the staff with last years team couldve went 6-2 against that schedule fine, Have it your way. Pump the fuk away.

The team looked really good against BYU last Saturday. Chattanooga won't be a problem and hopefully, the team plays well in the conference games.

That being said, when I read some of the posts from Tiger Ree and Space Cowboy and like the one I'm responding to from you, I have to wonder if the three of you aren't jockeying for position to land a contract from Orgeron as his PR firm.
