Sending a kid back to a foreign country with which they have no ties is logical?

I have as much substantiation for my post as you do for yours. Are you starting to see how this works?
No. Sorry but there is no logic in sending kids back to a country they don't even remember. Political context maybe? Some political quarters may think it's logical to vilify this group to gin up hatred and resentment to keep their base supporting them.

Vilify? Lol please. You don't have to vilify someone to enforce the law. You would know that if you weren't an emotional leftist.

Who is vilifying them?

We are, by expecting them to follow our laws in the face of conflicting emotions.

It is not, and should not be the president's job to push proposals specifically for ethnic groups. His job is to do what is right for Americans. Not black Americans, or brown Americans, and certainly not illegal aliens.
Agreed but also disagree. Not all groups/classes face the same issues, nor do all groups/classes have the same history. It would be an administrative nightmare to approach policy that way. That just drives inequality.
Some groups histories and disparities need to be explicitly addressed. And yes, sorry that may leave other groups out, and thats not fair, but it would require this to get us all back on a fairer field. Things like healthcare, infrastructure, etc can be as a whole indiscriminate, but some aspects within it, like research and housing, can target certain groups.
Yet this president has consistently targeted these AMERICANS in ways that will harm their demographics.
Why them and not the coal workers? You know middle class workers in the hood and barrios need jobs too?

"Ties" is subjective, and irrelevant. Irrespective of their "ties", the law was broken.
And you call that logical? Again, what actions and crimes did these kids commit to break a law?
Posted on 9/4/17 at 2:07 am to Toddy
They didn't. Their parents did. Why should they be rewarded for the bad actions of their parents?

The "group" I was referring to was the Mexicans and others. Trump did a fantastic job of this.

They were given protections in an extrajudicial manner.
Once congress passes a law akin to DACA, I'll be all for them being here.

I would hope so. I know you're a decent person.

In your head, maybe. Some of us saw the nuance in his statements.

Your new civil rights cause is bullshite.
All our countries ills, and every racists sentiments went away with a bill..a bill they hated?
You must think that the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments healed the civil war wounds...except jim crow and reconstruction happened.

You are the most racist person I've ever seen post on this board. I cannot say this enough. I say this because you constantly bring it up as if its the end all be all.
Furthest from it. Been here longer than y'all, and I've seen this place turn from a conservative hotbed to an borderline alt right sub reddit page. The change is alarming and I winder why.
What do I say that is racist? Talking about race makes you a racist? What disparaging things do I say that are racially charge? Or is it just that I don't go along with your opinions and that I steadfastly reject some o the falsehoods of your tenants? Or that I embrace the changing USA and the beauty and greatest of America now and not the falsehoods of yesteryear?

You clearly hate white people. I don't know if it's guilt or a manifestation of impotence, but you hate white people.

There is nothing wrong with "identity politics" unless its used to divide.
Pols culture and interests may different than Italians, Jews, Jamaicans, and Vietnamese people.
We are all american but we are not all from the same backgrounds, creeds, genders. As time progress, we become all more american in that we are more far removed from our place of origin, but we are not quite their yet. And there is a lot of beauty in those cultures to be celebrated as they add to the changing color and fabric of our nation. It builds on our story and our ideals.
We;d be foolish to think that (for example) the healthcare needs of women should be dealt like the healthcare needs of men.

No I don't.
I don't like racism in the slight bit, and mainly because its derived from stupidity, horrible science, and untamed hubris. I have read and have seen the carnage it can do.
racism is genocide because if you don't think others are equal to you, you will never go the length to protect them and their lives in the same matter you would for someone you see as an equal.
So yeah i don't like genocide, its trash.
