In 2015, he went 11-1 (with a win over Florida State) with a team that finished 7-5 the year before. That's pretty impressive, especially at Houston.

I feel like Herman though was probably better off getting Aranda for DC. Orlando has too complex of a scheme to expect a unit that was terrible a season ago to fully grasp things right away. So glad that Aranda is still with us.

In 2016, with the most talented team in the conference he finished in 6th place (with losses to unranked and less talented teams - Navy, SMU and Memphis). Would have been 1 more but he hauled butt before the bowl game.
