Yep. Zero chance that cop didn't know the law. It was a blatant attempt to find a way to blame the victim of a police chase and take liability off the department.

This was obviously a fishing expedition to mitigate liability for the department that initiated the police chase that caused the accident.

Policeman said in video the sample would benefit the patient if there was a lawsuit, then nurse said they already administered narcotics and would not be valid.

When idiot cops do stuff like this, it only gives ammo for the anticop people when a good cop gets in an altercation with a real bad guy. This happened a month ago and there were no consequences until the nurse went public. It is time the thin blue line stops protecting bad cops. They even do stupid stuff that gets them fired and a department down the street hires them. Cant give people that carry guns and can take people's freedom second and third chances.
